Approved 35-story skyscraper in Stratford

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is an excellent location for recreational activities, and it has undergone numerous transformations over the years to become one of the most well-known locations in the nation’s capital. The city council has approved the construction of a 35-story building adjacent to the park.

When completed, the tower will have a total of 272 residential units and 302 square metres of adaptable retail space.

Nearly half of the apartments in the two buildings will have one or two rooms, 41% will have two bedrooms, and the remaining 9%, or 32 apartments, will have three bedrooms.

These two hexagonal condos will each have a green roof, planted terraces, and pathways for plants to wind their way up the sides of the buildings.

Transport for London has requested a payment of £250,000 from developers for the construction of an elevator and a southwest entrance to the Stratford station.

TfL has suggested that access to the station be improved because the construction of the new skyscraper will lead to an increase in the use of this transportation hub.
