On St George’s Day, Trafalgar Square will be transformed into a fantastic party featuring the finest of England. There will be music, markets, and events for people of all ages in the heart of London, and there will be something to do for the entire family.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, April 23rd, from 12 p.m. to 18 p.m., and there is no need to make a reservation.
The West End Musical Choir, a quartet of’strings, a hoe down collective, a brass band, and a folk headliner will all be performing at the family-friendly event.
Live entertainment will be provided in addition to the main spectacle, including Saint George and his dragon, Divine Stilt Walkers, and Pearly Kings & Queens.
The Knights Training School, a selfie point with dragons, face painting, recycled crafts, and a play area will all be on hand to provide family-friendly activities. In addition, there will be cuisine and street food vendors.
Saint George is the patron saint of England and Georgia, and he is honoured as one of the 14 auxiliary saints. He is also the patron saint of the United Kingdom. Although there is no proof of his existence, history claims that he was a Roman soldier who was persecuted because of his Christian religion.
