A walking tour of some of the most important Beatles sites in the Marylebone district of London, including the locations of the Hard Day’s Night film opening scenes, the apartment where Ringo Starr, Jimi Hendrix, and John Lennon lived, and the location where Yoko Ono and John Lennon first met in 1969.
Beginning with a visit to the house where Paul McCartney came up the song “Yesterday,” we took the train to St. John’s Wood, where we saw the Abbey Road Studios and crossed the fabled Abbey Road Bridge.
The Beatles London is directed by Richard Porter, author of the book Guide to the Beatles London, proprietor of the Beatles café in St John’s Wood, and writer and presenter of the DVD The Beatles London (The Beatles).
