Harvard University Free Computer Course

One of the greatest colleges in the world is offering a challenging and renowned degree in its field. Whether you have prior programming knowledge or not, Harvard University provides a course that will introduce you to programming and information technology (IT).

CS 50 x teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve issues in a logical and systematic manner. Abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development are just a few of the topics covered. C, Python, SQL, and JavaScript, as well as CSS and HTML, are among the programming languages supported. Biological, cryptographic, financial, forensic, and video game domains were used as inspiration for this problem set.

Students who complete nine problem sets (for example, programming assignments) and a final project and receive good grades are entitled to receive a certificate. This is a self-paced course, which means you may move at your own pace through CS 50 x.

The course is, as usual, completely free, but if you decide you want a certificate to present to possible employers of employment, you will have to pay for it if you do not already have one. This gives you the opportunity to determine whether or not the course is right for you before committing to it.

You can start here and check out the free course.
