One of the most famous bands in the world, ABBA, is back. After 40 years the ABBA announced yesterday their return from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The quartet that made pop history in the years’ 70 is back with a new album. The quartet has announced their new album Voyage after months of speculation, due out on November 5.
Two songs— “I Still Have Faith In You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down” – premiered during launch at ArcelorMittal Orbit in Stratford.

The concert will take place in a place built specifically on the edge of the Olympic park that can accommodate 3000 people. Tickets are on general sale from Tuesday 7th September onwards.
Digital avatars – or Abbatar – are were created for concerts featuring members of the band during their heyday. In short, it is a blast from the past and ABBA does not age.
For the first time, the audience will hear and see the digital versions of ABBA on stage. The digital versions of ABBA were created using motion-capture and performance techniques with the four band members and a team of 850 people of Industrial Light & Magic, a company founded by George Lucas (yes that of Star Wars).
The concerts of 90 minutes will contain 22 songs, including the hits Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia.
The story of ABBA , one of the most successful bands in the world, began with a song called ‘People Need Love’. They were discovered by a talent scout and their manager was so impressed that he hired them immediately. The group consisted of two couples; Agnetha and Björn (who were married) and Benny and Anni-Frid (who were engaged at the time).
Members went through many troubles and confrontations, before finally breaking up in 1983 after 10 years together. They not only had personal problems but also business problems such as disagreements over copyright.
