The musical Beauty and the Beast returns to London

Bringing to life on stage like never before, this well-known “story as old as time” has been brought to life with all of the beauty and elegance that fans have come to expect from Belle and her Beast.
Members of the original creative team have reunited in this new production of the Olivier Award-winning musical, which includes all of the brilliant songs by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice, which premiered in the West End 25 years ago.

The critically acclaimed musical returns for a limited engagement at the London Palladium theatre. Tickets for the period of 24 June to 17 September may be purchased online here.

Based on the 1991 Academy Award-winning musical animated picture of the same name by Walt Disney Pictures, which was in turn based on the traditional French fairy tale by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, this adaptation is set in the world of the Disney Studios.

A greedy prince is magically changed into a hideous beast as a result of his wrongdoing in the fable of Beauty and the Beast.

He must learn to love the young woman he imprisoned in his magical castle if he is to be able to return to his human form as the Beast before it is too late.
