Beyoncé will give several concerts in the UK, starting in Cardiff on May 17 and then Edinburgh and Sunderland. There will then be four concerts in London from May 29 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Beyoncé Knowles was born on September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. She began singing at age 8 and formed the group Destiny’s Child with two childhood friends, Kelly Rowland and LaTavia Roberson, at age 9. In 1997, the group signed with Columbia Records and released their first album, Destiny’s Child.
