Sono 70 libri, uno per anno di regno della Regina e vengono dal Regno Unito o da paesi del Commonwealth. Una lista difficile da fare, visto che è solo un libro per anno e certi anni sono usciti diversi libri che si meriterebbero di essere nella lista, mentre altri anni anche il migliore non è all’altezza di libri scartati di altri anni.
Nella lista trovi libri famosissimi e libri che forse non conosci proprio, potrebbe essere l’occasione per scoprirli. I libri sono in ordine cronologico dal 1952 ed elenchiamo la versione in lingua inglese, ma diversi di questi titoli sono stati anche tradotti in italiano.
In ogni caso questa lista ufficiale per il Giubileo di Platino della Regina Elisabetta II presenta una panoramica della letteratura in lingua inglese degli ultimi 70 anni. Ovviamente sono esclusi libri statunitensi e irlandesi visto che entrambe nazioni non appartengono al Commonwealth.
